Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  •     Regular data processing for clients
    •  Utilize analytical skills to identify gaps in data or other quality issues
  • Preparation of ad-hoc spreadsheets in support of routine reporting
  •  Development of reimbursement or analytical modules in response to changes in reimbursement policy
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Ability to read technical documents
  • Experience with Microsoft server and office software
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Access, including custom forms and scripting
    • Proficiency in relational database structure, including T-SQL queries
  • Data Visualization experience
    • Tableau, Microsoft Power BI
  •  Experience with healthcare revenue cycle is a plus
    •  Familiarity with Hospital and Physician reimbursement mechanics
    • Medicare Cost Report
    • Service line modeling, profitability analysis
    •  Risk analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or relevant field preferred
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  •  Must possess analytical skills
  •  Must be able to comprehend, manipulate and interpret statistical data
  •  Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout  all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
