CBIZ is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide timely and accurate support to the finance department and others as needed. 

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

• Serve as primary financial contact for assigned operating unit(s) via direct and frequent communication with Controller and other levels of management as necessary.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations to management
• Develop operational improvement plans
• Run and distribute monthly financial statements reporting on variances as needed.
• Assist in various components of the annual budget and forecasting processes
• Assist the department with data analytic tasks including production of reports for month end close, developing reports as needed.
• Create efficiencies through utilization of available technology.
• Perform and analyze new hire Pro Forma’s as requested.
• Assist the Controller in day to day operations. 
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to meet assigned deadlines

• Ability to be successful and comfortable in a role with changing tasks and priorities

• Technically savvy

• Heavy technical skills including Excel, Spotlight and ability to manipulation large amounts of data

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Must possess analytical skills
• Must be able to comprehend, manipulate and interpret statistical data
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proficient use of applicable technology
