Essential Functions and Primary Duties 

The Demand Generation Marketing Manager plans, creates, delivers and scales thought-leadership focused marketing programs that enhance brand value and drive revenue-generating opportunities for a team of 12 B2B consultants. Taking strategic direction from senior leaders, the role partners with sales enablement and creative teams to develop thought leadership, utilizes digital marketing to engage target audiences, and drives qualified leads to consultants in CRM.

Primary responsibilities include (% = strategy focus):

Digital Lead Generation and Sales Enablement (67%)

Inbound Lead Generation

  • Build, execute and leverage web forms, landing pages, email, and other strategies focused on capturing net-new leads to nurture through to sales-ready state.

Outbound Lead Generation

  • Ideate, build, coordinate, leverage and execute multi-touch account-based marketing, email, paid advertising, and social selling campaigns focused on engaging existing leads to convert them to opportunities for B2B consultants.

Project Management

  • Serve as project management lead for senior leaders, subject matter experts and cross-functional partners as well as point of contact with external agencies.
  • Measure progress and success by tracking KPIs and creating dashboards to illuminate key lead generation and sales metrics.

Thought Leadership Creation & Coordination (33%)

  • Working with internal copywriting and creative teams, partner with subject matter experts to produce thought leadership that drives interest, conversions and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve market messaging around advisory solutions that appeal to CFOs and other executive buyers
  • Utilize internal copywriting and creatives teams to execute brand-focused projects in digital mediums and physical collateral
  • Develop and run a “gifting” storefront that internal marketing, senior leaders and consultants can activate

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 year of relevant work experience – can include non-full-time experience
  • Ability to be intellectually creative, strong in process execution, data-driven, and in-tune with delivery, sales and marketing alignment
  • While not working towards an assigned revenue goal, the desire to win, succeed and outperform the competition is an intrinsic quality that will create success and align with the team’s culture; competitive by nature
  • Experience with and examples of integrated marketing campaign implementation
  • Experience in professional services businesses (accounting, legal, engineering, insurance, consulting, etc.)
  • Expertise and use of CRMs and marketing automation systems (Salesforce, Pardot, etc.) to drive marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong writing skills; ability to write clearly and persuasively, in order to draft campaign narratives and improve marketing deliverables
  • Strong verbal communication skills to drive internal and external communication throughout all levels of organization
  • Knowledge and demonstrated light production in publishing platforms (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Strong presentation skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Demonstrate strong interaction with public providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Demonstrate autonomy in problem recognition and resolution
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
