CBIZ’s Credit Risk Advisory Group serves the needs of a diversified client base, including financial institutions, non-bank lenders, debt funds, private equity and hedge funds, institutional investors, and companies in need of debt or equity financing. Our professionals provide services specifically tailored to our clients' changing needs, including the varying aspects of initial or periodic analysis for financial transactions, including debt and equity transactions. We have experience across multiple lending and equity transaction, various debt asset classes, specialty lending/securitization and asset-based lending areas.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties  

  • Verify large volumes of client information for data integrity at a fast pace with accuracy for certain recurring monthly projects
  • Financial spreading of company financials from 10K reports, financial statements, and tax returns. CBIZ can provide training
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work on various types of engagements
  • Provide day-to-day support for various administrative activities, as necessary
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several simultaneous projects
  • Must be capable of applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills across client engagements
  • Proficient use of applicable technology, primarily Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and the ability to learn financial statement spreading applications (CASH Tools and others) and vendor risk management platform
  • The position will be based in the CBIZ office in Plymouth Meeting, PA
  • A hybrid schedule of in the office and work from home is possible, but initially more time will be spent in the office to learn the role and have direct access to the management team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields
  • Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience in related field (banking, business lending, commercial credit analysis, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of core business lending principles and best practices
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process and summarize large amounts of data
  • Strong and/or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 years of experience in related field
  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Presentation skills mandatory
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
