Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Organize and prepare work papers as supporting documentation to client deliverables
  • Prepare bank deposits and reconciliations
  • Administer general ledger coding, check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
  • Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Execute administrative duties as assigned
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Desired Qualifications

  • Bookkeeping experience at a Business Management/ Family office firm
  • Data Faction software experience
  • Will interact with clients, professional/polished demeanor required 
  • Effectively organize and efficiently prepare accurate work papers for supporting documentation to the clients deliverables
  • Attain a solid understanding of accounting practices within a CPA firm
  • Become technically proficient in the company's accounting software
  • May serve as a team member for multiple clients/engagements 
  • Prepare bank deposits and reconciliations 
  • Administer proper general ledger coding 
  • Conduct multiple tasks concurrently, managing workloads to meet deadlines 
  • Efficiently and effectively prepare sales and use tax reports and personal property tax reports 
  • May prepare and review payroll, payroll reports, quarterly and annual governmental reports and financial forms such as 1099, 1096, W-2 and W-3
  • Respond to routine client and management inquiries in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required along with 2 years of accounting experience. Associate’s degree preferred
  • Exceptional customer relations skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
