Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Handle resolution of claims issues that are straightforward, solved by application of procedures or guidance, or referred onto others for resolution
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of claims forms
  • Investigate coverage questions and problems that are straightforward, solved by research, or referred onto others
  • Monitor claims activities and results
  • Educated clients on how to report claims
  • Participate in client presentations related to claims
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than 3 years of insurance claims related experience
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
