About the Role

The Senior Business Development Associate works with guidance from the Managing Director of APG and local office leadership to win new clients and expand relationships with existing clients

  • Works in coordination with Client Service groups pursuing client relationships and sales opportunities with the objective of winning new business
  • Work with local office leadership and the a Managing Director of APG to create and execute a sales strategy for the assigned territory
  • Conduct and report on sales activity within assigned territory
  • Coordinate with Client Service groups to develop and execute sales campaigns under the direction of the Managing Director.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through relationships, sales campaign activity, or other sales activity
  • Work with local and regional leadership to identify pursuit team members and client relationship owners

Preferred Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting
  • Proven sales ability represented by a minimum of three years of direct sales experience
  • Possess industry knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus presentation skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and to multi-task

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 years of experience in related field
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Presentation skills mandatory
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
  • This role can work remotely
