As an Analyst/Associate, you will work closely with senior management on projects relating to acquisitions and to a more limited extent, divestitures. You will work within a close-knit Corporate Development team to understand, analyze and model the financial performance of M&A targets support due diligence, M&A target relations and marketing, business case development and internal reporting.

​Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Support the Corporate Development team’s efforts in project and transaction execution business case development, financial modeling and analysis, detailed due diligence, and transaction deal management
  • Prepare and analyze business cases for new M&A opportunities
  • Develop pro forma financial analysis for targeted acquisitions
  • Analyze market segments, market trends, growth, competitive developments, and potential partners and acquisition targets to assist in recommendations to the senior Corporate Development team
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on the status of strategic activities and pipeline
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) or a related field
  • Proficient use of applicable technology (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to handle high level of confidentiality

Qualifications Required

  • HS diploma or GED required preferred
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Must be able to comprehend, manipulate and interpret statistical data
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Travel requirements: variable based on deal process, but likely less than 10%
