Position Summary
An internship in the Employee Benefit practice provides both a learning opportunity and valuable hands on experience working in an insurance brokerage firm. This position will assist in the preparation of client materials and serves as a resource to a client service team.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Support creation of marketing and sales materials
- Conduct market analysis and research
- Assist in the creation of client materials, emails, presentations, etc.
- Provide support to social media efforts, including messaging and engagement analytics

- Maintain and update employee benefit guide templates
- Provide support editing request for proposals
- Assist organizing local and national office events (internal and external)
- Utilize management system to track event attendees, registrants and follow-up
- Provide administrative support including creating agendas, meeting minutes and overall coordination support
- Updating company and client branding
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or completed bachelor’s degree
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) fluency
- GPA of 3.25 or above
- Able to multi-task and see projects through to completion
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Ability to be self-motivated, self-directed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
Minimum Qualifications
- You must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completed first year of college coursework
